Upon graduating for Texas A&M in 1985, Curt began his career as a sales engineer in the Telecommunication Industry. During his 17 years in the Telecom Industry, Curt had the opportunity to work for three Fortune 500 companies, and two small businesses. Curt developed his sales and marketing skills as he managed sales territories, and managed other salespeople as a regional sales manager, national sales manager and VP of sales. Curt was consistently a top producer for all the companies he work for and experienced success as he helped to grow sales revenues and gained market share year in and year out.
Throughout Curt’s sales and marketing career, Curt learned how to consult with his clients to identify the most practical and cost effective products and services that met their needs. He helped clarify issues so that his clients could decide on the best course of action that would result in meeting their goals. Curt’s values, along with his integrity, enabled Curt to develop long-term business relationships with his clients, and allowed Curt to become the preferred source in providing his clients with products and services. It is all about building trust!
In 2004 when Curt was looking to make a career change, he followed his heart, and he decided to do something he always desired to do, get into the real estate business. Curt believes that home buyers and home sellers will benefit from a similar approach that contributed to his success throughout his telecom career. Curt’s approach with his real estate clients is to combine his consulting expertise with salesmanship, acting as a consultant to them – explaining options, clarifying issues and helping them make wise decisions. Curt acts as an advocate for his clients and helps them get the deal done under price, terms and conditions that will be as most advantageous as possibles.
Curt’s desire is to implement this same approach as your real estate agent as he helps you with your real estate needs. He will consult with you so that you can make the best decisions about your real estate transaction, and he will be your advocate who always strives to get your real estate deal done under the terms that are most favorable for you. Curt grew up in Denton and currently lives in Argyle with his wife, Lisa, and their three children. He enjoys being outdoors, hunting, fishing, swimming, working in the yard. Most of all, Curt enjoys spending time with his family in all their activities.
